New Teacher Mentor

The New Teacher Cohort mentors are a dynamic, inclusive group of teacher leaders who collaborate in a professional learning community to expand their impact beyond the walls of their individual classrooms by mentoring CPS new teachers across the district in the CPS New Teacher Cohort. We’re looking for strong CPS teachers with a deep understanding of the CPS Framework for Teaching, a strong commitment to creating equity for CPS students and teachers, and a passion for mentoring new teachers to become autonomous educators.

SY25 New Teacher Cohort Mentor Overview

EligibilityCPS PreK-12 teacher who will be teaching at least one course to CPS students throughout SY24-25 preferred. At least 3 years teaching experience with at least 2 years in CPS.
