New Teacher Mentor/Framework Specialist

The New Teacher Cohort mentors are a dynamic, inclusive group of teacher leaders who collaborate in a professional learning community to expand their impact beyond the walls of their individual classrooms by mentoring CPS new teachers across the district in the CPS New Teacher Cohort. We’re looking for for strong CPS teachers with a deep understanding of the CPS Framework for Teaching, a strong commitment to creating equity for CPS students and teachers, and a passion for mentoring new teachers to:

Collaborate in a grade/content mentoring team to facilitate monthly professional development meetings and provide resources for the New Teacher Cohort
Provide individual mentoring support for new teachers in your grade/content (from across CPS)

EligibilityThree years teaching experience, REACH Distinguished/Excellent rating.
