Implict Bias Training at CPS

The Talent Office has partnered with the YWCA Evanston North Shore, a well known provider of equity training and experts at delivering bias and inclusion training in a virtual setting. This 2 hour introduction to implicit bias training is mandatory for all new CPS Central Office and Network leaders (new to CPS or new to their leadership role). New sessions are offered every year from February- March. Identified CPS leaders will be sent registration materials in February 2024.

This course is designed to help participants learn what bias is, how to recognize it, and how to minimize its impact, especially in the hiring and selection process. Providing users with knowledge and strategies to create psychological safety and enhance employee engagement to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
