APs Rising is a suite of targeted development opportunities that are designed to support our talented pool of assistant principals. It includes a Leadership Bridge Program for up to 25 assistant principal and principal pairs. As part of this program, APs will receive individualized leadership coaching from an external partner in close collaboration with their principal.
Eligibility: Current Assistant Principals who are interested in becoming a Principal and have been identified as a potential internal successor in their building. District Assistant Principals should have earned CPS Principal eligibility or plan to go through the process in 2020-21.
